Nature Trail
We Design experiences,
not Only Screens
Designing a citizen-first digital experience to reconnect Mumbai with its natural heritage.
The Story
Nature Trail is an eco-tourism initiative by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (BMC), created to offer citizens guided access to Mumbai’s protected green zones and natural reserves. The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness while ensuring conservation, controlled access, and public safety.
As interest in urban nature experiences grew, BMC needed a digital platform that could do more than share information—it had to manage access, guide citizens, and ensure smooth, rule-based participation across diverse user groups.
That’s where 12Grids stepped in.
We didn’t just design a website—we designed a public-facing digital system that balances discovery, governance, and user experience.
