The Story

Prachi Shevgaonkar, the visionary behind Cool The Globe, had already built something powerful: a citizen-led movement encouraging individuals to reduce their carbon footprint. Her mission was rooted in empathy, community, and measurable climate action. But as the platform started to gain traction, scalability, user experience, and product fatigue became growing concerns. She needed a partner who understood the deeper mission—not just the technology.

That’s when fate brought Prachi and Ravindra (Founder of 12Grids) together through a mutual friend. Their first interaction wasn’t about business—it was about values. Both shared a deep-rooted belief in using technology for good, and that climate action had to be simple, scalable, and emotionally engaging. But even then, things were still in discovery mode. Trust was forming, but the commitment hadn’t yet solidified.

Then came the call.

Prachi received an invitation to pitch Cool The Globe on Shark Tank India. It was big. But with the app not ready for prime-time, the moment felt overwhelming. Unsure and anxious, she reached out to Ravindra.

And that call changed everything.

The 12Grids team immediately came alive with excitement and clarity. Ravindra gave her just one assurance:

“Say yes. We’ll take care of the rest.”

That moment turned collaboration into commitment. That was the real beginning. From that day, 12Grids became the design and technology partner of Cool The Globe, leading up to one of its biggest public milestones.

Together, they reimagined the app experience, infused energy into the brand, redesigned the UI with a fresh eco-conscious identity, and delivered a seamless, powerful product—just in time for Shark Tank.

And the rest? As they say, is history.

Cool The Globe won the hearts of the Sharks and walked away with a deal. But more importantly, it walked away with a product ready to scale a global movement.

Problem Identified

As Cool The Globe grew in ambition, the app began facing limitations that hindered both impact and scalability. The vision was strong, but the experience needed refinement. It was time to bridge the gap between purpose and product.

Revamped Action Logging with Instant Feedback

We redesigned the entire UX flow to make logging actions smooth, fast, and intuitive. Each action now instantly shows how much CO₂ was saved, creating an immediate sense of impact and purpose.
